Teddy was born right before General Conference. It was so heavenly to snuggle up to a newborn during the sessions and breathe in his sweet smell!
The first few weeks after we brought Teddy home from the hospital passed in a sleep-deprived blur. Kirk stayed home from work for a few days, and my (amazing!) mom came and stayed for a week. Then it was me on my own with the two boys! To say I was nervous is a bit of an understatement. There were definitely some rocky moments - not pictured are episodes of Ace throwing fits whenever I would nurse Teddy... that was fun. But, with patience and candy (very important when dealing with an unreasonable two-year-old), we made it through.
We gave Teddy his first bath. Ace was a big help.
I pretty much took photos of Teddy all day (and night) long. The newborn stage goes soo fast.
We visited the beach a few times during the afternoon for the sole purpose of letting Ace run out some of his energy.
Love these boys in their stripes before bed.
We visited Grandma and Grandpa Crockett's house - Ace was pretty stoked on their new swing set.
^This is what mornings at our house look like.
We stretched our legs down at the beach trail for family night.
I also took a lot of pictures like this one^. What can I say, I love the milk-drunk face. :)
And yeah, we made it down to the beach a couple of times - with help! We just can't stay away.
And finally, Kirk and I went to his friend Bobby's wedding. So fun and such a great view during their ceremony. Then the next morning, we left for Hawaii. Post to come!
