Patience

I don't have any.
Patience, that is.

In the (yes, half-finished) baby room.

It's March 9th.

Meaning that my due date, yesterday, has come and gone, just like any other day.
And although I knew he was going to be late and prepared myself for it, I can't help but be a little disappointed that he's not here yet.

But we'll wait.  Guess the little guy just needs some more time to be fully incubated. We, on the other hand, are ready.  Ready to hold our little baby and ready to not be pregnant any.more. (Yes, ask Kirk and he will admit he is ready for me to not be pregnant anymore.)

But know this, baby - your days in my womb are numbered.  You can't stay in there forever. (Right??  He has to come out eventually, right??)

  1. Yes he will come out! Just start doing some hard core exercise. Remember when mom rode the exercise bike vigorously to kick Owen out? Was it Owen?

  6. I am not so sure about the exercise thing. I seriously climbed a mountain and Zane still didn't come for 10 more days (but he wasn't past his due date at that point either... maybe it will work!)

  7. You look so pretty!! And I love his room! And I don't know if it was on my mom's card or if she's dropped off the gift yet, but it is from me too! (Just didn't want you to think I wasn't think about you since I couldn't make it to the party).

  9. Apparently Kirk's tardy gene was dominant in this round.
